Setiap pemimpin adalah gembala yang menuntun kawanannya ke padang rumput yang baik. Gembala yang baik memastikan domba-dombanya merasa aman dari ancaman pencuri dan serigala. Demikian juga Yesus adalah Gembala yang baik yang menuntun umat-Nya. Yesus sungguh-sungguh mengenal domba-domba-Nya, karena mereka mendengar suara-Nya. Sebagai Gembala yang baik, Yesus memberikan nyawa-Nya bagi domba-domba supaya mereka memperoleh hidup. Kepemimpinan yang diajarkan Yesus ini menjadi model bagi para pemimpin negara maupun pemimpin Gereja. Seorang gembala harus berbau domba, agar dapat mewujudkan kesejahteraan dan kebaikan bersama (bonum commune).References
