PENGARUH MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN POWERPOINT BERBASIS ANIMASI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPAS PADA SISWA KELAS IV SDN 22 SIGAOL MARBUN

This study aims to determine the effect of using animation based PowerPoint presentation media on the IPAS (Natural and Social Sciences) learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 22 Sigaol Marbun during the 2025/2026 academic year, specifically regarding the topic of "States of Matter and Their Properties." The study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method and a non- equivalent control group design. The research subjects were fourth-grade students. The research instrument consisted of an essay test administered as both a pretest and a posttest. The results showed that the average pretest score was 46.2 for the experimental class and 51.5 for the control class. Following the intervention, the average posttest score for the experimental class rose to 83.1, while the control class score became 60.8. The ttest results indicated a calculated t-value of 6.5990, which exceeded the t tablevalue of 2.009; consequently, the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected. These findings demonstrate that the use of animation-based PowerPoint presentation media has a significant effect on students' IPAS learning outcomes. Animation based PowerPoint presentation media is capable of enhancing students' conceptual understanding and learning outcomes more effectively than conventional instruction.References
