PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN PKN MATERI PERAN GOTONG ROYONG DI KELAS IV UPT SD NEGERI 030286 PARSAORAN TAHUN AJARAN 2025/2026

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in the Civics Education (PKn) subject—specifically the topic of the "Role of Gotong Royong" (Mutual Cooperation)—in the fourth-grade class at UPT SD Negeri 030286 Parsaoran during the 2025/2026 academic year. The study employs a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental method with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The population and sample for this study consist of all 28 fourth-grade students at UPT SD Negeri 030286 Parsaoran. Data collection involved administering learning outcome tests both before (pretest) and after (posttest) the implementation of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model. The data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing (t-test). The results indicate an improvement in student learning outcomes following the implementation of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model. Hypothesis testing confirms a significant effect of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in the Civics Education subject (topic: Role of Gotong Royong) for fourth-grade students at UPT SD Negeri 030286 Parsaoran in the 2025/2026 academic year. Thus, the Jigsaw cooperative learning model serves as an effective alternative instructional model for enhancing student learning outcomes in Civics Education
