The era of global uncertainty characterized by health, economic, political, and rapid social changes has influenced the dynamics of religious experience in modern society. This study aims to analyze the phenomenological structure of religious experience during this time of global uncertainty by combining a phenomenological approach and quantitative methods. A total of five dimensions of religious experience existential anxiety, search for meaning, transcendental connectedness, intensity of worship, and spiritual reflection were measured through a structured survey. The results showed that search for meaning (4.5), spiritual reflection (4.3), and transcendental connectedness (4.0) were the most dominant dimensions, while intensity of worship received a lower score (3.8). These findings indicate a shift from institutional religiosity to a more personal, reflective spirituality. A comparative analysis with ten relevant articles shows that this study fills a gap in the literature by providing an empirical mapping of the structure of religious experience in the Indonesian context. This study presents novelty through the integration of a phenomenological approach with quantitative data to understand the transformation of transcendental experiences in contemporary society. The results confirm that religious experience plays a crucial role as a mechanism for meaning formation, psychological resilience, and the transformation of existential awareness amidst global uncertainty.References
