Jesus Christ said, “I will come again and take you to myself, so that where I am, you also may be” (John 14:3). He established His Church in this world (Matthew 16:18) and guides it by the Holy Spirit toward eternal life in His Kingdom in Heaven. In this world, Christ’s Church is called the Pilgrim Church (LG 49). Therefore, this discussion seeks to explore the eschatological dimension of the Pilgrim Church and the elements that lead it toward the Kingdom of God in Heaven, using the documents of the Second Vatican Council, particularly Lumen Gentium, Chapter VII, and its commentaries, along with various other written sources as references in this studyReferences
