guidelines for performing tasks. In the era of global competition, a strong organizational culture is believed to enhance work motivation and improve employee performance. This article aims to analyze the importance of work culture on motivation in improving employee performance. The study employs a systematic literature review approach, drawing upon the latest scholarly publications from 2022 to 2025. Findings indicate that work culture serves as an internal organizational factor that fosters positive behavior, a sense of belonging, and stronger employee commitment. Work motivation, both intrinsic and extrinsic, acts as a crucial mediator between work culture and performance. Employees working in organizations with a healthy, collaborative, and reward-based culture tend to show higher motivation, which translates into better productivity, work quality, and innovation. The article also highlights the importance of managerial support, effective communication, and reinforcement of organizational values to sustain a positive work culture. In conclusion, work culture not only directly influences performance but also indirectly through increased motivation.References
