Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan Learning Management System (LMS) dalam meningkatkan kemandirian belajar mahasiswa. Menggunakan desain quasi-experimental dengan Nonequivalent Control Group Design, dua kelompok mahasiswa dibandingkan: kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan LMS dan kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner kemandirian belajar yang telah tervalidasi. Hasil uji independent sample t-test menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok (p < 0,001), dengan rata-rata skor post-test kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi (118,2) dibandingkan kelompok kontrol (101,4). Efek ukuran (Cohen’s d = 5,14) menunjukkan pengaruh besar LMS terhadap peningkatan kemandirian belajar. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi LMS secara efektif mendukung pengembangan kemampuan belajar mandiri mahasiswa. Oleh karena itu, LMS dapat diadopsi sebagai strategi pembelajaran yang relevan dengan tuntutan pendidikan abad ke-21.
